Gaming Laptops

Wanna buy a desktop ? I don't think so. With the fast growing technology Laptops have thrilled the market with various models and awesome specs. People prefer laptops over desktops due to their various attractive qualities. More and more powerful laptops are being made today. At first Laptops were used for business purposes only and the reason was mobility. Another important feature was its wireless nature. You don't need cables anymore, even the power cable(if the battery is charged). But today you find gaming laptops in the market which have lowered the market of desktop computers to a great extent. Desktop computer was popular among gamers due to it's gaming capabilities. You can put any gaming card in it and start playing and the same card can not be plugged in the laptop. But don't worry, gaming laptops are in business today and you'll find laptops competing with your desktop soon.

But then what would happen to desktop computers ? That's the question. Is the world going to be filled with laptops only ?

Technology War

With the fast growing technology and new inventions, the competition has also grown. Gaming is another way of entertainment and enjoyment as well as earning money. More and more games are being released these days with every game better than the previous.

Graphics has a lot of importance as far as games are concerned. Gamers like games with better graphics and hence the game is played more and more. These days another technology is trying to over-ride graphics, and that is MOTION SENSING technology in the game controls. With this technology one can feel the game by playing it with the moves of his body and hence the joystick is now being pushed back.

But the graphics in those motion sensor games are not good enough to compete with the normal games. It looks like you are playing a previous generation game and hence is disappointing.

How far will this war go ? and who will win ?

These are the questions at the moment.

Don't Ride Your Bike !

15th March 2009 was the day that made me think to write these lines here on my blog.

Kite flying is a recreation sport and a source of enjoyment in different parts of the world. Pakistan is a country where there's a special day for Kite Flying and that is called "BASANT" in the local language means THE SPRING SEASON or Celebration for Spring Season. On this day people fly kites and have fun with their friends and families throughout the day. For the past few years many people died due to the thread with which the kite is bound. People travelling on bikes got injuries and many died. So Pakistani Government banned this sport. People were not allowed to fly kites anymore. However people were anxious and wanted to fly kites.

This season the Government lifted that Ban in a funny way. At least I find it funny because the Government lifted the ban from kite flying and put it on Bikers. Now you can fly kites on 15th of march but you can't ride a bike on that day. The funny thing is that in Pakistan and the specific region called Punjab there are more people with bikes than with cars. Hence people couldn't do their works and other tasks they were supposed to do on that day because the ban was announced just 1 day before the Basant Festival.

I say that the Government should have solved it in a better way by not putting the ban on bike riders. What do you think ?

Cheapest DVD-R ?

DVDs are of common use these days. Some use it to write their favorite movies while some use it for their important data storage like pictures, videos, records etc. However it has different price in different countries and cities.

But what I am writing here is probably the lowest price one can get.

In Pakistan, you can get a spindle of 50 DVD-R for just 6 USD. Isn't it amazing ? Well at least its the lowest price I know.

6 dollars mean 12 cents for a piece so its pretty low isn't it ?

Please tell if you know some place where its even more cheap.

Best Rifle In The World

Whenever we talk about rifles, two names come into mind for sure.

M16

AK47

The first one is known for its high accuracy and the other one is known for the powerful ammo it uses. Both the rifles are effective in different scenarios. However they can be used anywhere.

Here's what I am trying to say

What if these two guns are mixed together and a new rifle is designed which is as powerful as AK47 and as accurate as M16. That will be something to rely on in any situation and region of the world. The outer design can be adopted from either rifle. I mean it can look like an M16 and have deadly power like AK47 or the opposite.

What do you comment ?

Abusive Language In Movies

Film industry is growing day by day around the globe and more and more movies are being released. However with this advancement, people have lost control of some things. Like in the today's movies the use of abusive language is a common thing. OK, I am not asking anyone to stop anything because people like these movies and the abusive part is kind of necessary regarding today's culture. But this stuff is used with Holy names like God and Jesus in some movies and this thing is getting more and more common these days. So this should be avoided and abusive language, if to be used should only be used for movie characters (Humans, Animals etc) only.

What do you say about this ?

Need Graphics Card Upgrade ?

Everyone loves games these days. There are many games that require specific graphics card and some other requirements as well. Isn't it sad that you buy a PC for gaming and spend a lot of money on it. Then time passes and you come to know that your PC needs upgrade. Shouldn't There be a standard for games as well ? I mean there are standards for everything in the world.

Shouldn't the games be made for a specific requirements ? Instead of increasing the requirements with time there should be a standard like

Games should be launched for a certain requirements for a certain period of time. e.g No one can launch a game with heavier requirements before 2010 or 2011. So that everyone enjoys the games for a longer period of time and does not need any upgrade for a specific period of time.
